CASA COLONIAL MUÑOZ

• Run by Julio Muñoz and Rosa Orbea (english spoken), Casa particular Muñoz is a colonial house built in 1800 that has retained its original style and antique furniture (featured in National Geographic magazine October 1999, page 102 and National Geographic Traveler March-April 2012,page 67).

• Casa particular located in the centre of Trinidad de Cuba, all the main sites are no more than a convenient 3 minutes walk away.(map)

• After your activities you can relax in this lovely home, in the courtyard with garden or on the roof terrace with a magnificent view of Trinidad and surrounding mountains.

• You will stay with the young family of Julio and Rosa Muñoz (who both speak English), their daughters Maria (19) and Carmen (11).

• Munoz's family love animals; you can enjoy the company of the pets Luna de Miel (Honeymoon) the horse (stabled in the garden); Brandi,Hedwy and Cloe the dogs.

• Julio is a "horse whisperer" and has an Equestrian Center where is possible to do horseback riding to the mountian, valley, waterfalls, beach, etc. Also has a project for help the horses.

• Julio is a photographer and can arrange photography workshops and study groups. He is also able to provide beginners with information and advice on request. Trinidad de Cuba is a great place for photographers and filmmakers.

• Bedrooms: 3 rooms are for rent:

• -2 Large rooms. Each one is spotless, quiet and spacious with 2 double beds (1 extra single bed is possible); air conditioning, refrigerator and large electric ceiling fans. In suite modern bathrooms with a hot shower. Safe box.

• - 1 Medium room with the same facilities than the Large ones, excepting it is smaller and have just 1 double bed. Have a window facing to the patio.

• Prices: Room rates of the legal casas particulares in Trinidad de Cuba may change according with the tourist season and government tax, (check updated prices ).

Dear Guest: In order to increase the comfort level of the Casa, we are doing some renovation work, however we make every effort not to disturb our guests.
